Janesville business: Werdin and Schmidt Clothing, Furnishings & Shoes. Plaque displayed at the Werdin and Schmidt store. Werdin and Schmidt were located in the Miner Building (Heritage House) and went out of business in 1968. The donors are the daughters of the fathers that owned Werdin and Schmidt.
