Hat Stand. Material: wood, metal. Size: 6 1/2" base diameter by 12 3/4" H. Description: wooden circular base; metal spiral rod in center; circular metal hat holder at top of rod.

Janesville business: Werdin and Schmidt Clothing, Furnishings & Shoes. Hat stand used in the Werdin and Schmidt store. Werdin and Schmidt were located in the Miner Building (Heritage House) and went out of business in 1968. The donors are the daughters of the fathers that owned Werdin and Schmidt.
