Wooden Shoe House. Material: wood. (a) Shoe. Size: 6 1/2" x 8". Description: red, blue, white and yellow painted wood, shoe-shaped toy open at the top; blue shoe fold-down tongue forms door; vertical line of shoe-lace holes on either side of opening; square window opening on shoe house side; red graphic of window shutters and playing children; red script logo above window: "Playskool." (b) Toy people. Size: 1" x 2". Description: seven wooden turned spools representing mother and children; two yellow spools with black bases (one square, one triangular), two red spools with black bases (one square, one triangular), two blue spools with black bases (one square, one triangular), one larger green spool on circular base.
Anita's oldest son was born in 1952. They purchased toys for him and the other children from stores in Waseca County.
