Blue Street Dress. Material: textile, metal. Size: 14" W. (shoulder to shoulder) x 43" L. Description: slate "Alice" blue rayon street dress, small pointed collar, long sleeves gathered to wide cuffs that close with three metal snaps, front closure from neck to hemline with purple corduroy covered buttons, set-in bodice yoke and waistband trimmed with narrow purple braid in diamond pattern, one right and left tab at upper bodice each trimmed with one purple covered button.
Donor (daughter of the couple) believes the bride's sisters made this dress for Ethel Jeddeloh. Donald Kaiser, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Kaiser of Waseca and Ethel Jeddeloh, daughter of Fred and Bertha Jeddeloh of New Richland were married on January 29, 1940 in the Rock Evangelical church in Northwood, Iowa by Rev. Galstad. They were attended by Lois Engel of New Richland and Clinton Somers.
