June 15, 1974, Jenni Samuel the Australian school teacher and Dave arrived in Sydney, Australia. Dave touched the Pacific having completed another leg of the walk around the world. During their time together from Port Augusta to Sydney Jenni and Dave fell in love and decided to get together when the walk was finished. The couple said good-bye but after the walk Dave returned to Australia to get Jenni. Two years later the couple was married in the USA and live in California.
