Businesses in these buildings during the 1930s: Kaufman Cafe, Peterson Electric who shared space with Carl Weckwerth Painting and Gunsmith, and across the street an auto shop run by Ernie Kreuger. Later in the 1930s Peterson Electric moved down the street and shared space with the C. B. and O. B. Johnson Clothing Store. Peterson Electric had to close shop during World War II because copper was go to the war effort.
