Hand saw used by the Waseca Water and Light Board. Material: wood, metal. Size: 31\" L. Description: curved metal saw blade - wooden handle riveted to one end - \"W. & L T. B\" on handle - copper ring attached to handle.
Dr. Wesley Howard Rethwill, son of Dr. Wesley Harve Rethwill. Hand saw used by the Waseca Water and Light Board to trim branches that would interfer with electrical wires. The saw teeth indicate one-way strokes, cutting on the pull stroke. The copper ring allowed workmen to attach the saw to their tool belt. Harold Cooper was the Waseca Water and Light Board superintendent. Robert Smith Sr. worked for the Waseca Water and Light Board and probably used this saw. Circa 1930\'s, 1940s.
