Gustav Runnerstrom Family and Residence. Material: paper. Size: 6" x 8 1/4". Description: black and white photo image showing a family posed outdoors in front of a large brick two story house; the parents are seated and identified as Gustav R. Runnerstrom and Theresa M. Bauman Runnerstrom; the children are standing and are identified as (Dr.) George Elmer Runnerstrom, Arnold Richard Runnerstrom and Alva (Elva) Mable Runnerstrom [Gilder].

The Runerstrom house was probably built in 1893 and was located seven miles south of Waseca, off County Road #15 near the village of Otisco. Gustav Runnerstrom was born November 14, 1859 and died January 11, 1937. Theresa Bauman Runnerstrom was born December 13, 1866 and died April 8, 1954. George Elmer Runnerstrom was born March 22, 1892 and died January 26, 1956. Arnold Richard Runnerstrom was born August 18, 1893 and died February 13, 1960. He was a charter member and former president of the Waseca County Historical Society. Alva Mable Runnerstrom Gilder was born May 4, 1895 and died December 29, 1990.
