Avery steam engine pictured on the J. P. Sommers farm as it was sold and moved. In a fall 1944 letter Menke, the purchaser, is asking about a compound used for steam engines and asking if JP had a book on them, and also if Alice, J. P.'s daughter, would share a couple of tulip bulbs.
