Otto Schroeder was married to Clara Rux January 24, 1917. Their children were: Erwin Martin Schroeder, Wilbert Otto Schroeder "Barney", Wilford Arthur Schroeder "Tex", Harry Leonard Schroeder. Harry is the father to John Schroeder, the donor. "Unidentified steam tractor and crew. Probably was a Morrill operation, as the Morrills were reputed to have run a steam-powered threshing rig. They were neighbors of the Schroeders and Ruxs in Alton Township and some of the family worked on the threshing rig as young men."
