Otto Schroeder was married to Clara Rux January 24, 1917. Their children were: Erwin Martin Schroeder, Wilbert Otto Schroeder "Barney", Wilford Arthur Schroeder "Tex", Harry Leonard Schroeder. Harry is the father to John Schroeder, the donor. Note with photo: "Harry Leonard Schroeder, son of Otto and Clara (Rux) Schroeder, middle of photo. Taken soon after joining the United States Army in September 1949 in route to Fort Riley, Kansas. Second person from right, wearing hat, is Charlie Sutliff from New Richland, Waseca County. He was a Korean War casualty and may have been the only casualty from Waseca County, although there were many from Waseca County who were in the Services during that war."
