1924 to 1975, Dr. Wesley Harvey Rethwill, Sr. originally from LeSueur, MN, established dental practice in Waseca in 1924 with Dr. Prail on the second floor of the old First National Bank building, 100 1/2 N. State St. In 1965 he moved his practice to new building with his son, Dr. Wesley Howard Rethwill, Jr., at 409 N. State. The building was razed c. 2005 to allow expansion of Waseca Medical Center. This box used to hold Dr. Rethwill's dental medicines. Dr. Rethwill explained that there used to be a glass shelf inside, but it broke so that is why there is a homemade shelf inside now.
