Description: black and white newspaper photo copy reprinted in the May 9, 1984, JVA Newspaper; captioned:"Did you know these people? This picture was taken in 1924 in the showroom of the John Manthey & Son Ford Garage located in Janesville; Vern Walther's insurance office was later at that location in, 230 North Main Street. On the picture (from left) are: Herbert Manthey (salesman), 10 year old Alvin Manthey is in the Model T Ford, Zella Fratzke, (bookkeeper), John Manthey, (owner); Martin "Felix" Dimmel, (all-around helper). On the Fordson tractor is E.H. Mueller (a visitor); Henry Mueller, (gas truck operator); and Joe McGovern (mechanic). In the foreground is a New Briggs Stratton engine. All on this picture are deceased except for Martin "Felix" Dimmel, who lives at Cambridge, Wisconsin. This picture was brought in by Ethelina Born, daughter of John Manthey."
