Description: brown paper with red cross graphic on front - pamphlet titled: "The Nurse and the Knight by Hervey Smith McCowan" - 16 page story inside - handwriting on back: "This booklet is one I found on my cot in the tent one day when I came in. This morning at the meeting the Chaplain asked how many had gotten one and read it. I could for I had just read it before I went there and happened to have it in my pocket with the intentions of sending it home as an example of the reading material and the warnings the "Y" gives to young men. Of course some of the booklets state facts a great deal plainer than this one does but I thot this was good. May send some of the different ones sometime. One of the boys is waiting to play checkers so will stop. R.K."
