Black Wooden Captain's Chair. Material: wood. Size: 22" W. x 28 1/2" H. Description: black painted wooden chair; five-spindles form back rest; two spindles support each arm; two horizontal stretcher spindles between front chair legs, two stretcher spindles between side legs and between back legs; four turned legs.
Note on chair: "From Council Chamber Old City Hall, Waseca, MN Summer of 1977." Note taped to bottom of chair: "This captains chair was donated to the musuem by the County Commissioners. It was used in the Court House that was built in 1870."
