Waseca Centennial Souvenir Coin. Material: metal. Size" 1 3/4" diameter. Description: gold metal, one hundred imitation gold coins (five kept) inscribed on one side: "Waseca, Minn. 1868-1968. First 100 Years. For an Hour or a Lifetime"; inscribed on reverse: "Souvenir, Half-dollar redeemable in trade at Centennial Headquarters, Waseca, Minnesota, on or before June 17, 1968".
Waseca celebration: Centennial. From the estate of Armand Matz (1914-2006) father of Barbara (Mrs. Edward) Roesler; lifelong resident farmer in St. Mary Township close to Loon Lake. Marvin Johnson and Dick Frentz ran the celebration.
