Carved Oak Advent Wreath. Material: wood, textile. Size: 13" diameter x 2 1/2" H. Description: brown stained and finished oak, open circle design, top tapers up from base to a slightly smaller opening; four cylindrical handle holders rise from base at equal intervals around the circle, intricate carved sides; green felt surface protectors on bottom. (a) Box. Material: paper. Size: 13 1/4" square x 3 1/4" H. Description: white corrugated cardboard merchant's storage box, flip up openings on ends; black print and wreath graphic: "Abbey Advent Wreath, Abbey Press, St. Meinrad, Indiana 47577, 70748-0; wreath #67.06 stored in box.
Faith Lutheran Church, ELCA Synod, Janesville, Minnesota. This congregation formed in Janesville by a small group of approximately 35 people in 1965; they bought the former Methodist Church building at 201 West Second Street, Janesville, and held services and activities there until October 2005 when the congregation sold the building. While waiting for the new church to be built, the congregation held services in the McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville. The Congregation held its first worship service in their new church on Easter Sunday, April 2006. The new Faith Lutheran Church building is on Owen Street on the east side of Janesville facing East Elysian Road.
