Arlington Pennant, Frank Murphy. Material: textile. Size: 11 1/2" W. x 32" L. Description: yellow and red wool felt - triangular shaped - red appliqued block letters arranged in descending side from wider pennant edge to narrower point: "Arlington" - 4" L. red silk ties, three sets on wide side - black ink lettering on center tie "Frank Murphy" - yellow appliqued CA symbol to left of Arlington.
Arlington Club was a young men's social club in Waseca at the turn of the 20th century. The club was organized about 1903 and disbanded after WWI in 1918. They met in the basement meeting room of the First National Bank at 100 North State Street, Waseca, Minn. See Waseca Journal - Radical 15 May 1918 for more information.
