8" x 9" four-color print reproduction on a fan; of the Lillian Colton seed portrait of the Minnesota Public Radio personality, Garrison Keillor (of "Prairie Home Companion" fame); made from an assortment of different seeds glued to a canvas board, and glued to a tongue depressor stick to make a fan.
Joan Mooney got these four paper fans at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts' exhibition of Lillian Colton's seed portraits. Lillian Colton is from New Richland, Minnesota. She was inducted into the Minnesota State Fair Hall of Fame. The exhibition was presented by the Minnesota Artists Exhibition program.
