Printer's Steel Rule. Material: metal. Size: 2 1/8" W. x 1 1/2" L. Description: steel tool - squared off on three sides - honed to a sharp bottom edge - bumped out at top for a handle - stamped on front side: "C. T. Johnson Mfg. Co., St. Paul, Minn."

Used by Walter Child from 1872 to April 25, 1901 on the Waseca Weekly News, the Waseca Herald and the Waseca Radical.
