Black Wool Skirt. Material: textile, metal. Size: 32" W. waistline x 37" L. Description: black twill wool - floor length - back closure placket with hooks and eyes - lower area detail: black satin covered buttons sewn on horizontal tabs.

Worn by Ella Thompson Jensen, b 1887 in Wisconsin and lived in Wood County until her death in 1966; aunt of donor, Ruth Fury, Janesville, Minnesota. This skirt was altered and worn again in 1956 at the Janesville, Minnesota Centennial celebration. Goes with blouse / waist 47.03.15.
