Tailor's Iron. Material: metal, wood. Size: 7 1/2" W. x 7 1/2" H. Description: natural colored wood handle attached to a silver metal block that tapers at both ends; opening on each side to attach handle.
Used by Mrs. Herman Nigg whose father Charles Sitta was a tailor in St. Paul. This is a small model of a tailor's iron. Used around 1905-06. Charcoal iron.
