4" x 2 3/8" black and white photograph of the construction of the Peter Miller dairy barn built in 1918; a view of the foundation nearly finished with men standing on the mainfloor; at center are three men sitting on a load of lumber boards on a horse drawn wagon.

This is a collection of 20 black and white, and 4 color photographs of the Peter Miller farm, and particularly of the building of their dairy barn in Blooming Grove Township, Waseca County; 39403 140th St. The barn is very typical of barns built in the early part of the 20th century featuring gambrel roof, roof ventilators, attached silo and roof dormers. It was built in 1918 from trees milled right on the site of the new barn. See 102.08.10
