4" x 2 3/8" black and white photograph of Peter Miller and two friends milling timber into planks and boards, lumber for his new dairy barn in 1918.

This is a collection of 20 black and white, and 4 color photographs of the Peter Miller farm, and particularly of the building of their dairy barn in Blooming Grove Township, Waseca County; 39403 140th St. The barn is very typical of barns built in the early part of the 20th century featuring gambrel roof, roof ventilators, attached silo and roof dormers. It was built in 1918 from trees milled right on the site of the new barn. See 102.08.10
