First Community Outhouse in Waseca. 3" x 3" black and white photograph of the old building in the back yard of 454 4th Avenue N.W., Waseca; the home of Boyd Fuller. This structure was the first community outhouse in Waseca, originally built near the railroad stations, separate facilities for men and women, two doors, and a cupola for ventilation on top. Fuller's house was built in 1922 by George Oesterich who moved the outhouse building to his property when it was no longer needed by the city. He turned it into a chicken house. By the time Fuller bought the property, the little outhouse was too dilapidated to save.
