The delegation met in Washington D. C. for briefings, then met in Tokyo and then Peking. The delegation toured the Peking Broadcasting Equipment plant, Semiconductor Research Institute, Central Meteorological Observatory, Quinghua University, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Shanghai, and Wuxi.
