New Richland business: Abraham's Cash Store, later Abraham's Grocery and Dry Goods was started by Attalla Abraham in April 1924, with his wife Bertha Abraham; five of their children continued to run the business as partners until 1988, after 64 years of business. Abraham's was located in the I.O.O.F Building also known as the Odd Fellows Hall on Division Street, New Richland, Minn. After years of vacancy and neglect, the building was renovated and preserved with Legacy grants and donations from the public and New Richland State Bank. In 2013, it reopened as the New Richland Public Library.
