World War I, WWI, soldiers, army, U. S. flags, United States military service. Waseca business: Kopman Photography. They were given the usual send off by the band and our citizens last evening. Leo L. Baumgartner and Roy Sutherland left for Indianapolis for a chauffeur course. Eldo Herman Wobschall, Anton Stucky, Jr., Harry Cochran and George Erickson left for the state university for special training as auto mechanics, radio operators or machinists. Walter Herman Lange, Helmer Elias Verplank, Sylvester Robert Coates and Albert George Schultz left for university farm school for training as blacksmiths, electricians or carpenters. Alois Stucky enlisted in the naval band and expected to be sent to Hampton Roads, Virginia.
