Pearl Beaded Bridal Crown. Material: textile, plastic or metal, beads and sequins. Size: 3 1/2" W. (top to bottom) x 14" L. Description: white - threaded beads arranged in a diamond pattern over white lace and translucent sequins - designed with three extended points on each side of the crown - all fastened to a spring that forms the base of the crown - open to the back.
Averill Warburton was raised on a farm between Waseca and Elysian. She was married to Mr. Cutting by Reverend Hinderle on June 13, 1954 at a 3 p.m. ceremony in Grace Lutheran Church, Waseca. Averill sewed her wedding gown from material purchased at Brett's Department Store, Mankato, for $100.
