Marvin Johnson. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" black and white photograph of Marvin L. Johnson, "born in Otisco Township, Waseca County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Johnson. He graduated from Waseca High School in 1915, attended Yankton College, 1915-16, graduating with the class of 1920 from the University of Minnesota, receiving a B.S. degree in Business. He married Mildred Olson of Winthrop, Minn. on May 28, 1931. They are the parents of two children, Wendell and Helen. They reside at 204 10th St. N.E. After graduating from the University he taught school at Nome, N.D., Blue Earth and Faribault. In 1926 he joined his brother Edgar, in the E. F. Johnson Co. and Johnson Radio Store. In 1941 a fire destroyed the radio store and he became active in the E. F. Johnson Company, where he is Purchasing Agent and a member of the management committee. He served on the City Council 1926-27. He served in the Marine Corps in World War I. He is a member of the Lions Club, a member of Tuscan Lodge #77, A.F. & A.M. He served as master in 1942. He is a member of Zurah Temple Shrine, he is a member of the First Congregational Church. He owns and pilots a plane. Marvin is a hard working and conscientious man. I admire him very much. 1-25-55"
