William Farrington. 4 1/2" x 5" black and white photograph of William Serenus Farrington, "the able editor of the Waterville Advance, grew up in the printing profession. After graduating from high school, he joined his father, S. H. Farrington, and learned the printing trade at Waterville. He ran the Morristown Press for several years before returning to Waterville. After his father's death in 1934 he became the sole owner of the Waterville Advance. He is a grandson of Serenus Farrington who settled in Otisco Township in 1857. I consider Bill a very dear friend, and when in Waterville, rarely miss the chance to call on him for a chat. 12-12-1943"
