Penney Co. and remained in that capacity until 1944 when he was transferred to Blue Earth, Minnesota where he still holds fort. While residing in Waseca, he took a great interest in civic affairs. He was an ardent worker in the Boy Scout organization, and was President of the Lions Club. He also served as Master of Tuscan Lodge #77, Mason 1944. Always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. January 24, 1945."
