Fred Senn. 7 1/2" x 9" black and white photograph of Fred. W. Senn, "born in Remsen, Iowa, a graduate of Kasson High School and of the law school of the University of Minnesota. He came to Waseca in 1909 and served as City Attorney and County Attorney, and Judge of Probate; was elected Judge of the District Court of the 5th Judicial District in November 1922; which position he ably held until his death which occurred on July 28, 1941. Judge Senn took a great interest in the community where he lived. He was very active in church and the Masons and was Grand High Priest at the time of his death. He took a keen interest in Scouting and in politics. His death was a severe shock to me as I considered him one of my closest friends. I miss him a lot. 1-4-54"
During Herman Peterson's work at the Waseca County Historical Society, he collected portraits and biographies of many friends and Waseca area businessmen and professionals.
