E. F. Johnson Company Edgar F. Johnson. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" black and white photograph of Edgar F. Johnson, "born on a farm in Otisco Township, Waseca, Minn. He received his grade and high school education in Waseca, graduating in 1916. Attended Yankton College 1916-17, University of Minnesota, 1918-1921, receiving a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. It was in 1926 when he started the E. F. Johnson Company. Later his brothers, Marvin and Everett joined the partnership. In 1953 the company was made a corporation and Edgar remained as president. He served on the Waseca School Board for several years. He is a member of the Lions Club, a member of Tuscan Lodge #77, A.F. & A.M. He served in World War I. He is a member and trustee of the Waseca Congregational Church. The Johnsons reside at 1009 East Elm Avenue and are the parents of two daughters, Shirley and Lois. I have been employed at Johnsons since April 10, 1942, where I have spent the most pleasant and interesting years of my life. To Edgar I owe much. He is a real executive, a successful business man and a wonderful friend. Best of luck. 1-1-55"
