Pete Madden. 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" black and white photograph of Pete Madden, "a Waseca product, being born in Waseca in March, 1887; graduated from Waseca High School, learned the telegrapher's trade and was telegraph operator for several years. He studied law in Henry M. Gallagher's office, was admitted to the bar and became a member of the law firm of Gallagher, Madden & Gallagher. During the World War I he entered the 2nd Minnesota Field Artillery July 6, 1917. He entered the Naval Reserves and was in charge of Radio Instruction. He served two terms as Alderman in City Council, and was a member of State Legislature in the 1935 session. At present he is a member of the City Hospital Board. A good speaker, a successful lawyer, a 100% Waseca booster and one fine fellow."
During Herman Peterson's work at the Waseca County Historical Society, he collected portraits and biographies of many friends and Waseca area businessmen and professionals.
