C. W. Wagner. 4" x 6" sepia print photograph; C. W. Wagner, "born in New Richland township, Waseca County; served this county as County Superintendent of Schools for four years, 1895 to 1899. He is now and has been engaged in the newspaper business. He is editor and part owner of the Independent Review at Litchfield, Minn., a splendid fellow.

During Herman Peterson's work at the Waseca County Historical Society, he collected portraits and biographies of many friends and Waseca area businessmen and professionals.
