Werner Dietrich. 2 1/4" x 4" black and white photograph; man in military uniform, identified as Werner Dietrich, "born in Germany, came to this country with his parents when he was 5 years old; attended grade and high school at Waseca; graduated Class of 1936; attended University of Minnesota, B.A. in 1940, and M.A. in 1942; entered Armed Forces in 1942, was sent to Germany in 1943, was discharged in 1946, having received rank of Major; still stationed in Germany as a civilian in the office of Chief Off. of Intelligence Military Govt. Werner is an eagle scout and a member of Waseca Aquilla Club, an intelligent boy who made good. Hats off to you Werner." (November 1, 1947)
