New Richland Dairy Days Parade Float. 6" x 3 7/8" black and white photograph of the Dairy Days parade on Broadway St. in New Richland, Minn.; the float pictured represents the State Bank of New Richland, decorated with stars, eagles, swirls and three young girls in formals; white building with striped awning was The Sweet Shop, owned by Karl Niehaus and then later by Ray Salmon; the brick building to the right was the New Richland Coast to Coast Hardware Store, now gone; Cully's Depot (name changed to "K & K's" in 2004) restaurant is now occupying the old Sweet Shop building; the girls are identified as Dairy Princess Barbara Loken Clausen and her attendants Marie Powell and Lois Brandvold Clausen.
