Waseca organization: Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), a secret society for the mutual aid and benefit of the members, originated in England in the 18th Century. Odd Fellows ceremonial prop. Used by Waseca Comee Lodge #25. Brothers Eugene & Ole Baughman were always cast in the skits as the "robbers" in the initiatory degree ceremonies. They would lay in wait and leap out at the travelers on the road to Jericho.they would then hit the ground with the clubs and demand money. Bible stories were acted out in full costume.
