Charles, Carl, Richard and Russell Groskreutz Family Farm. 16" x 13" hand-tinted oval, framed photograph of the Groskreutz farm circa 1920s; located in Vivian Township, Waseca County; barn has a fieldstone foundation, gable roof, post and beam construction using wooden pegs, two cupolas; built circa 1905.

These farm buildings were originally built by the donor's great-grandfather, Charles Groskreutz. His son was Carl August Groskreutz, and his son was Richard Groskreutz, the father of the donor, Russell Groskreutz. The barn and other buildings were built with wooden peg construction between the 1870s and 1905; located in Vivian Township of Waseca County.
