T. O. Brandvold 1915 Barn. 7" x 4 3/4" color reproduction digital photograph of the barn built by Torkel O. Brandvold in 1915, located in Otisco Township; 70 ft. by 40 ft. bank barn built from Douglas fir. The roof boards came from the previous barn, and some of the original fieldstone is still standing. The beams are 7" x 7" notched. The silo was added in the 1920s; Lloyd Brandvold, son of Torkel Brandvold, painted the barn white in 1962, remodeled the basement making room for 28 stanchions; and he installed a barn cleaner; Ruth Hines is the granddaughter of Torkel Brandvold.
