Worn by donor as waitress when working in the Ryan Hotel on the west side of Main Street in Waseca, Minn. Dates to 1908. "Good place to work, I say. I pitched in many other jobs, too, in all that place in 2 1/2 Years. This dress was worn by me in the dining room, and once in a great while, on the street (if I wish). In those days was not to save necessarily - just to serve one purpose. White looks nicer in serving". Mrs. Anton C. Olson.
