Children. 3" x 3" black and white photograph of two children sitting on a striped, upholstered chair; unidentified; the boy is about seven years old, reading to a little girl, about two years old, with a panda bear; named written on photo edge, "Hornero"; see Accession 1.03.85.102, 108 for other photos of these children.
Found in collection, a photograph album belonging to Herman and Teal Peterson; brown cover with gold-leaf geometric design; punch-hole binding with corded tie; many family photographs of friends, neighbors of the Petersons; many were members of the First Congregational Church, Waseca, Minn.; others were neighbors; some were Scout families; others were country kids who stayed with the Petersons during winter weather so they could attend high school in Waseca. Photographs were falling out of album and were removed to files for archival reasons.
