Roscoe Ward Residence. 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" black and white photograph of the "new residence" of R. P. Ward or Roscoe Percy Ward, son of W. G. Ward, Waseca pioneer; R. P. Ward is the brother of Martha (Mrs. D. S.) Cummings. Known as the Ward house on East Elm Avenue, Waseca, Minn., it is the only house in Waseca of this scale and design, with four stately ionic columns across the front, three stories, of Greek Revival architecture; a horse and buggy are parked beside the right side of the house; notice the young boulevard trees, and open spaces beyond the property; dirt roads at the time and simple telephone pole; entitled, "Percy's residence."
