Young Boy at Cummings Home. 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" black and white photograph of a winter scene with an unidentified young boy standing in front of the Cummings home on 2nd Avenue N.E., Waseca, in the snow, with a sleigh behind him with three people in it, pulled by two horses; another sleigh in background; also in background corner is the Lewer home, now the Bailey-Lewer House Research Center of the Waseca County Historical Society. The home on the left side of photograph is on the site of the Waseca Methodist Church, which has housed the WCHS museum since 1964.
Found in collection with note written on torn inside cover, "1971, to Waseca County Historical Society, from Wm. G. Cummings; pictures taken by my father, Dr. Damon S. Cummings in the late 1890s; (signed) W. G. Cummings; photographs of members of the Ward family, Trowbridge family, Everett family, Watson family.
