The notebook actually belonged to Esther Kanne's school teacher, recording her class list of students, grades, scores and subjects studied for School District 40 and School District 1, Rice and Waseca Counties, and District 5, Waseca County. Ruth (b.1902, d.2 Nov 1995) and Esther (b.1892) Kanne were daughters of Ferdinand Kanne and Mathilda Bahr. Ruth married Edwy O Dibble; their children were: Edwy and Katherine. Esther married Roy John Hecht; their children were: Loren, Maurice, Ronald, Vida, Ardella(donor), and Verda.
