White Tulle and Satin Gown. Material: textile, metal. Size: 49" W. x 39" L. Description: white tulle over white satin outer skirt with white net underskirt; sleeveless gathered tulle bodice with a wide scoop front neckline and a back v-neckline; white satin piping forms a wide front cummerbund look at waistline; full tulle skirt gathered to waistband; back zipper closure with hook and eye at top; two 29" L. white tulle sashes hang from back neckline over zipper almost to hemline; white taffeta hanger straps inside each armhole.
An example of formal or bridal party attire in the 1960s. Worn by Karen Zeller, granddaughter of the Herman Panzrams, for her senior prom and again when she was a candidate for Waseca County Dairy Princess in 1961.
