Two-Piece Women's Suit. Material: textile, metal, shell. (a) Jacket. Size: 49" W. cuff to cuff x 17 1/2" L. Description: beige cotton lawn with brown and tan floral pattern trimmed with deep wine red velvet and lined with light brown polished cotton; high velvet collar and lapels; inner bodice closes with hooks and eyes, pleated bodice ties hang over bodice; front velvet waist cummerbund attaches with hooks inside bodice; jacket front trimmed with three velvet covered buttons on each side and opens to show cummerbund and ties; long set-in sleeves with three tucks at shoulder cap for fullness and velvet rolled back cuffs. (b) Skirt. Size: 10 1/2" W. at waist x 34 1/2" L. Description: ankle length top skirt of same fabric as jacket, underskirt of brown polished cotton, edged at hemline with a 5" W. band of the beige patterned fabric that peeks out under top skirt; brown cotton waistband; back closure with two shell buttons; back of skirt gathered at waistline for added fullness.
