North Waseca Lutheran Baptismal Font. Material: wood, metal. Size: 21" W. x 43 1/2" H. Description: white painted wood - ornate octagonal base, font and lid - large turned knob handle on lid - enamelware bowl fits into font top - one gold painted stripe encircles font stem and lid below knob.
Donated by the Hagen family and used for about 80 years at the North Waseca Lutheran Church. Crafted by Severt and Ole Hagen in the 1880s. The Hagens also built the altars and pulpit for the church using a windmill powered lathe on their farm.
