Mr. and Mrs. Rinehart Miller and Grandson Cortland Miller. Material: paper. Size: 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". Description: black and white photograph of Rinehart Miller and Julia (Snider) Miller, former Waseca residents, with their grandson, Cortland Miller; at their later home at 3824 Pillsbury Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota..
Donor is the great-grandson of William Everett, co-founder with Aughenbaugh, of the E. A. Co Mill in Waseca County. The Everett home, built by William's son Edward Everett overlooked the east end of Clear Lake, a classic Victorian-style home; demolished in 1958, an architectural and historical loss to Waseca County. Rinehart Miller, born in Prussia in 1843, was a successful Waseca merchant for many years (1870s, 1880s); his wife, Julia Snider Miller was born in 1867; together they had 8 children (3 sons and 5 daughters); their daughter Antoinette (Nettie) married E. A. Everett; their daughter Mary Regene married E. A. Everett after Nettie died in a train wreck in 1909.
